travis reminds me of the good old days, 2000

so my latest poster project was travis.

i took this one greedily. i don't believe that my style of artwork necessarily fits the feel of travis. however, i really do love the first few albums of travis and feel that coldplay robbed them of their greatness. anyways, so needless to say i struggled through this one.

i had ideas of a sperm whale and a giant squid dueling it out. then it just went down to a squid. and then a squid taking a picture, then 4 squids, and then a whale.

i really love the way this one looks but not sure it fits travis. i tried listening to their new stuff to get "inspired" but i really don't like their new stuff. it just made it harder on me.
