last year david and i celebrated our second year of marriage. i thought it was fun to give the traditional gift items. the first year, paper, i did a paper cut out piece and so then for the 2nd year, cotton, i found this cross stitch pattern to do. i completely ran out of time to complete it for our anniversary, then i got side tracked with quilting. i've never cross stitched before, especially a pattern that isn't printed on the fabric. so i was a little apprehensive, which is one of the reasons it's taken so long to start. so i went on you tube and learned how to start such a project and turns out it was incredibly easy!
so now i can't stop. i have so many ideas floating around in my head about things i can do with cross stitching. i also found these charley harper cross stitch patterns and i plan to be starting on it next! i can't wait!
until then i am working on this one. i hope to have it done next week. it's so fun to see a section get done!
it's funny how i think these things are so fun but david would consider this torture if he were doing it. haha
