baby!

so i haven't posted in a while.

but my  main news is that i am pregnant! however, anyone that would possibly read this already knows.

we found out for sure that it's a girl and she has been kicking and moving a lot lately. mainly at night. it's a very strange feeling. much like a muscle spasm that won't go away... unless you rock the tummy. she seems to move the most when there is something on my belly. so i try to wear dresses. i told my mom that i'm already enabling my baby by giving her everything she wants... and for now it's just not wearing something around my belly that would bother her.

david and i thought we had our girl name picked out. we've had dakota mae (and then a japanese name, whatever that may be).. but since we've found out that we are for sure having a girl it's been hard to just stick to one name. each name we have picked out seems like they can be such different paths for our daughter. it's funny i imagine what she would think of her name if she were working at some fast food chain and it was on her name tag or if she were some CEO of a company or if she were more artsy and would appreciate a unique name. the other names we've been dabbling with are penelope which mainly is for penny. everyone asks me if it's because of the beatles' song penny lane. however, it is not. it's because of this very cute little girl:

and then david has always really like the name shiloh. which is very cute... but i can't get shiloh the beagle out of my head nor brangelina's adorable little daugher. the one that i really like at the moment is olive. but it gets the most faces of 'meh'. hehe

it'll all pan out. david and i have even thought of just waiting till we see what she looks like.

we will see but i've got a lot more growing and being pregnant ahead of me so naming is sort of the least of my worries right now!

next weekend i'm a bridesmaid in a wedding and i can't wait to look like the bridesmaid that let herself go. should be fun!
